Where our Wild Things go!

All Yeeha! children enjoy Forest School from day one, aged 10 months onwards. We initially use our fully stocked gardens to connect children with the great outdoors, wildlife, where their food comes from and reveal their wider horizons.

From aged 2+ we venture further to the wilderness spaces on our doorstep at Dulwich Park and Peckham Rye Park where we pond dip, river walk, bug hunt, nest build, bird watch and I.D., build shelters, learn basic navigation skills, forrage for edible herbs, fungi and plants. Run free, jump, climb and make like the animals. This is where our Wild Things are let loose (with scrupulous ratios and risk assessments in place) to explore their full physical and social abilities and unleashing their full potential.

We Forest School right throughout the full year, making the best of the seasons to fully connect and understand how we must adapt and evolve our stewardship and love of the natural world around us.
